Gratitude for Australian Book Launch

Nature Heals Book was launched on a beautiful Autumn April afternoon in the Hawkesbury…

Our heartfelt  thanks to Aunty Carol for her beautiful Welcome to Country; to Clarence Slockee for sharing a smoking ceremony and to officially launch Nature Heals… “rather than a bottle of champagne his beautiful choice was Aboriginal song and dance in the spirit of the contribution this book will make for the earth and people”. Clarence has also just launched Yerrabingin the first roof top farm in Australia…..so it was a double celebration.

Special thankyou to North West Disability Services and their CEO Deborah Gersbach and the Secret Garden team for hosting our launch in their beautiful garden and café. Thankyou to the Pat Eyre Duo from Newcastle for creating the peaceful atmosphere with their classical tones of guitar and flute…just magic!  Thankyou to Clio Doherty for sharing her experiences with children in nature and reading poetry from her wonderful contribution to Nature Heals. Thankyou to Dr Catherine Camden Pratt, Lecturer and Academic Course Advisor Western Sydney University, for her enthusiasm and support all very much appreciated.

We feel gratitude to everyone who contributed to making our launch a wonderful success! 2 x  boxes of books are now inspiring people working in the local community… together with orders from NZ, USA, Canada, Hong Kong and Italy all in these first few weeks. We look forward to launching in Aotearoa next week!!
